CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing)
Delivery modes: Workplace, Distance (VIC only), Virtual classroom (VIC only), School-Based Traineeship (VIC only).
Duration: 8 - 12 months.
Practical placement: 120 hours of work in a residential aged care facility that we can help organise. For workplace learners, practical placement hours can be scheduled during usual working hours.
Job outcomes: Personal care assistant, residential care worker, community, access coordinator, community care worker, community house worker, field officer (community services), nurse’s aide home care assistant.
Entry requirements:
- Language Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) skills must meet required standards for ACSF LEVEL 2.
- A current National Police Check.
- Evidence of flu vaccination is required to undertake practical placement in an aged care setting
- Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination may be required to undertake your practical placement. For more information, check with your workplace and/or state health department website.

CHC43015 Certificate IV in Ageing Support
Delivery modes and duration: Workplace – 12 months
Practical placement: 120 hours of work in a residential aged care facility. For workplace learners, practical placement hours can be scheduled during usual working hours.
Job outcomes: Personal care worker, care supervisor, program coordinator, community service coordinator, community support worker.
Entry requirements:
- Currently employed in a residential aged care facility in Australia.
- Language Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) skills must meet required standards for ACSF LEVEL 2.
- A current National Police Check.
- Evidence of flu vaccination is required to undertake practical
placement in an aged care setting. - Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination may be required to undertake your
practical placement. For more information, check with your workplace

CHC43415 Certificate IV in Leisure and Health
Delivery modes and duration: Workplace or distance – 14 months
Practical placement: 120 hours of work in a residential aged care facility that we can help organise. For workplace learners, practical placement hours can be scheduled during usual working hours.
Job outcomes: Lifestyle coordinator, leisure and health coordinator, leisure and therapy assistant, disability officer–day support, community leisure officer.
Entry requirements:
- Language Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) skills must meet required standards for ACSF LEVEL 2.
- A current National Police Check.
- Evidence of flu vaccination is required to undertake practical

CHC62015 Advanced Diploma of Community Sector Management
Delivery mode and duration: Distance (online) – 18 months
Job outcomes: Program area manager, community education manager, community services manager, volunteer program manager.
Entry requirements:
- Language Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) skills must meet required standards for ACSF LEVEL 3.
- You have a sound understanding of legislation, practices and standards within the aged care and disability sectors and of the Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI).
- You are currently employed in the community services sector; and
- In a management or service supervisor role, or
- Hold a Certificate IV qualification or above relevant to the community services sector and aspire to undertake any of the above roles.
Please note: If you are not in a management role, you will need to have employer support to be able to complete a range of tasks within the workplace.
